Land Van Anna

Project Overview

BIM Modeling for Educational Facility

For this Land Van Anna project, the client needed a detailed BIM model for an educational building to make coordination and documentation easier. They had shared PDF drawings, but working directly with those wasn’t enough for proper planning.

From PDF Drawings to BIM

So, we took those drawings and developed LOD 300 BIM models for both architectural and structural elements using Autodesk Revit. The idea was to create a model that’s accurate and easy to understand, not just something technical on paper.

Helping with Coordination and Documentation

Once the model was ready, it helped the team get a much clearer picture of the design. It also made coordination smoother and supported better construction documentation, reducing confusion later on.

Project Challenges

Documentation Accuracy

Preparing construction documentation required high accuracy to avoid design inconsistencies.

Project Scale and Area Coverage

The large project area (5992 sq.m) increased modeling and documentation workload.

Consistency Across Drawings

Ensuring consistency between model data and construction documents was a key challenge.

Team Collaboration Workflow

Managing collaboration between multiple BIM engineers required structured workflows and file management.

Architectural and Structural Coordination

Coordinating architectural and structural models required alignment of levels, grids, and building elements.

LOD 300 Modeling Requirements

Creating detailed models at LOD 300 demanded precise modeling standards and quality control.
