Goirle Woningen

Project Overview

The primary objective was to translate client-supplied PDF and CAD drawings into fully parametric LOD 300 Architectural and Structural BIM models. The deliverables incorporated precise geometry, element metadata, and coordinated model families to enable interdisciplinary clash analysis, federated model coordination, and lifecycle visualization from design through construction.

Project Challanges

Absence of Structural Drawings

The client provided limited structural information, requiring the structural model to be developed based on architectural layouts and standard construction practices.

Interdisciplinary Coordination Requirements

Ensuring proper coordination between architectural and structural models was essential to detect clashes and minimize rework.

CAD to BIM Data Conversion Complexity

Converting 2D CAD drawings into parametric BIM elements required careful interpretation and modeling accuracy.

Model Consistency and Quality Control

Ensuring consistent model standards, naming conventions, and data integrity throughout the project was a key challenge.

Dimension Discrepancies in Cellar Floor

Differences between survey points and dimension data required extensive validation and correction to achieve accurate modeling.

LOD 300 Modeling Standards

Maintaining LOD 300 requirements for both architecture and structure added quality control and modeling complexity.
