Our client entrusted us with preparing MEPF 2D documentation for a commercial project. The scope specifically included Mechanical, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems while excluding architectural, structural, and 3D MEPF modeling services. We used AutoCAD and Revit to deliver detailed and coordinated 2D documentation. Our role also involved a thorough design review process to ensure clarity and minimize on-site misunderstanding.
To provide MPF (Mechanical, Plumbing, and Firefighting) 2D documentation based on design inputs shared in .PDF and CAD formats.
Our engineering team reviewed all available project documents including PDFs and CAD files related to MEP coordination.
We developed coordinated 2D MPF documentation, flagging potential conflicts for design team review.
We actively participated in project coordination by attending a minimum of three meetings with stakeholders.
We also proposed additional BIM-related inputs to support faster and more efficient design decision-making.
